
One of the things I enjoy most about music is the diversity of art, so I find that I jump around in my passions for musical genres. I like everything from baroque to minimalist modern classical, smooth jazz to trance techno, bluegrass to pop country, and of course the nebulous genre that we float around now of "alternative" music.
I play violin, or fiddle, depending on what mood I'm in. If you ask me what the difference betwen a violin and a fiddle is, my answer is definitely, "the way you play it." Though the electric violin definitely allows for all sorts of things beyond what you'd usually define a violin or fiddle...
